Outrider: Pet Food
"Outrider" was a Portuguese startup with a bold and unconventional idea: To redefine convenience in pet nutrition by introducing bottled dog food. Designed for practicality without compromising quality, the brand’s goal was to position itself at the intersection of premium pet care and modern lifestyle. I was responsible for developing the entire brand identity, including the logo design, visual system, and social media communication style. The result was a cohesive visual world that reflected the company’s adventurous spirit and commitment to high-quality, natural ingredients. Concept & Creative Direction: The brand concept revolved around the wild yet loyal nature of dogs, combining rugged outdoor inspiration with contemporary packaging aesthetics. The identity draws from the idea of “wild hearts that follow their own path”, represented through topographic map textures, earthy and mineral color palettes, and bold, structured typography. The logo system was designed to evoke strength, trust, and refinement, serving as a quality seal across digital and physical applications. Visual System: Logo Design - Elegant serif logotype paired with a minimal circular emblem, balancing tradition and innovation. Color Palette - Deep natural tones (blues, browns, and grays), referencing landscapes, minerals, and authenticity. Typography: Geometric sans-serifs combined with classical serifs to convey premium simplicity. Textures & Patterns: Contour map lines inspired by outdoor trails, representing exploration and the bond between humans and dogs.
